The evolving web has transformed the way people live, learn, and communicate. Every day, millions of us share the narratives of our lives through written words, images, music, audio, and videos post on various social networks. They are the digital footprints that make up our digital trails. In spite of the warnings that what put online can come back to haunt, many people still carelessly go about sharing on the web. Many of us also forget that when we post online, apps or websites save our information or will show our geolocation. Often, have to turn off the geolocation feature in apps like Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. As an educator, will need some guidance in establishing own web presence. Establish a positive web presence by setting up a professional profile. Maintain and keep tabs on web presence. Every six months check online profiles to ensure information is updated.
