ABSTRACT

Blogging is a great way to share what is happening in every classroom. Transparency is very important to education transformation. Through blogs one can share videos, share why believe in our instructional practices, and share our humanity. Moreover, educators can also get other educational stakeholders on board by sharing their successes. The transition from a blog reader to a blog author was not easy. The first week of blogging the author had included Web 2.0 tools in which others online could contribute ideas. One of these tools was Padlet, an online wall where anyone can include a message on looks like a Post-it note. A learner can include a link, a picture, a video or written message. Only two educators contributed to Padlet and she remember feeling a bit depressed at the lack of participation. Write first blog post on paper or type it on the computer. Do not worry about minor details such as the title, headings, or design.
