ABSTRACT

Implementing and using the Data-Driven Instructional System (DDIS) model requires due diligence and commitment on the part of the school district. There must be a person within the district who is willing to take on the role of “data champion” to keep the initiative moving forward. This chapter will summarize some of the results we have seen in my district, demonstrating that implementing the DDIS model for school improvement is definitely worth it.
