ABSTRACT
Consider this quote from a student:
“Math is either boring or hard. If I get it, it’s boring. If I don’t it’s hard.”
We want to challenge students but not in the wrong ways.
The question for teachers is: How de we challenge students so that students find math satisfying and challenging in all of the right ways?
