ABSTRACT

There is a vital relationship between Common Core and technology in a way there has not been with previous standards and assessments. These appropriate bedfellows are now driving both the methods of teaching and the methods of testing; As they currently stand, the Common Core online assessments will be a combination of both an online multiple-choice test and some kind of performance-based assessment, be it a traditional written essay or a more visually embedded project of sorts uploaded into a field for scoring. Author's recently found passion for educational technology, he want to share some of the scaffolds developed to help his students evolve into digital learners. The Common Core world is one that enthusiastically embraces technology. Technology allows us to do those things if the instructor or the program asks it. To help along these lines, the author devoted the remainder of this chapter to a compilation of educational technology resources, broken down into categories.
