ABSTRACT
This paper summarizes the findings of a statewide evaluation of adult day care centers in Pennsylvania. It concludes that these centers perform a much needed respite and socialization function. As demand for adult day care continues growing, there is need to establish quality care standards, improve transportation and add counseling services for both the clients and their caregivers.
