ABSTRACT
This chapter presents our analysis of causal relationships determining the type and extent of in-place housing adjustments made by the households in our sample. We employ multivariate techniques with the goal of identifying the broad relationships present. However, several of the "lessons" learned in the last chapter from reviewing the adjustments made by this group suggest that establishment of such causal relationships is at best a demanding task.
