ABSTRACT
Our book is an effort to combine social, recreational, rehabilitative, and educational planning into integrated programs. As teachers working in convalescent hospitals and retirement homes we have found the social, recreational, or rehabilitative orientation in activities obvious, but there exists a great need for educational aspects of institutional activities for the older adult.
