ABSTRACT
The preceding chapters have focused on numerous components that are related to the creation of quality Rorschach research. They include a careful conceptualization of the problem, defining the issue to be addressed, identifying the relevant variables for the study, and selecting the appropriate subjects. None of these components are different from those commonly found in all research in psychology. Under optimal circumstances, any research in psychology will be formulated out of curiosity and reflect the motivation of the investigator to strive for a design that will reflect the best efforts of scientific inquiry. In that context, each of the previously discussed issues are afforded full weight as the research design is formulated and the appropriate approach to analyzing the data is selected.
