ABSTRACT
This is a typical Central Market bistro. It gets its name from the heavy iron grill protecting the front window by the side of the entrance. The house itself is one of the oldest in Paris. It was built in 1544. The restaurant, too, dates back a long way, as you can see by the well-worn, old-fashioned zinc.
