ABSTRACT

Chez georges is a Latin Quarter bistro well known to those who appreciate simple, good quality Russian food. Many a foreign visitor to Paris has also heard of it and comes to this inviting little place—situated in the Rue Mazarine, just behind the French Institute—to enjoy a hearty, inexpensive meal. This is an ideal bistro for lunch or dinner for those who have been spending some time on the Left Bank in quest of treasures at the antique shops, or paintings by the promising younger generation of the School of Paris who exhibit in the art galleries of the Rue de Seine.
