ABSTRACT

Chez max is typical of those small, intime little restaurants which can be classified in the “grand table, petite maison” category; for here again, it is the Patron who attends to the cooking and la Patronne who helps serve at table. The food Chez Max is superlative, and there is a remarkably well-stocked cellar for such a small restaurant. Naturally, prices exceed those of a simple bistro. But, for what you get, it is excellent value.
