ABSTRACT

(p. 133) Things are different from actions. Things constitute the materials which human beings handle through their actions. Actions, on the other hand, are the types of conduct which human beings engage in, whether verbally or in the form of actions for the purpose of fulfilling their bodily needs. Actions must be related to the things employed in the execution of the actions aimed at fulfillment. Thus, eating, drinking, walking and the like are actions and actual forms of conduct. Selling, leasing, deputizing, sponsorship, partnership and so forth are actions or verbal forms of behaviour.
