ABSTRACT
Fanon’s political ideas provide a useful theoretical framework for an understanding of the dynamics of political processes in Africa. Fanon is, in this respect, as much a political philosopher as a political sociologist. He has raised pertinent questions about the nature and structure of African politics. His answers are perceptive and thought-provoking.
