ABSTRACT
EDITOR'S INTRODUCTION THE PROCEEDINGS of the International Seminar on Mental Health and Infant Development, which was held by the World Federation for Mental Health at Bishop Otter College, Chichester, England, from 19th July to 10th August, 1952, have been published in two volumes, of which the present one constitutes the second. Volume I contains the lectures, and summaries of the discussions held during the Seminar; it includes also a description of the methods and techniques employed, and the reactions of the participants. From this account it can be seen that the Seminar constituted an important experiment in international, multi-professional, technical education in the field of mental health, and that the methods employed were also new in the international sphere.
