British Shippers’ Council (BSC) Since 1955 the British Shippers’ Council has represented the interests of British importers and exporters in relation to deep sea shipping, air transport, and customs and procedural matters. It was the first shippers’ council to be formed; there are now councils in most industrialised countries.
