ABSTRACT
This chapter suggests ways in which one can continue learning about digital literacies and new technologies, improve his understanding of theory and practice, and work through issues and challenges. It closes the loop of teacher activity, which leads from research to practice and back to research, including dissemination of new understandings. The speed of technological development, it's hard to future-proof guidelines on using new tools. In a world of ever-changing information and knowledge, we have no choice but to become lifelong learners. While PD courses and seminars have a role to play, its equally important for them as teachers just like their students to foster their PLNs. PLNs also provide a basis for demonstrating to students the practice of lifelong learning. One way to kick off a PLN is to set up a blog with one of the popular blogging services. Setting up a blog is relatively straightforward.
