ABSTRACT
In this chapter we will consider some common problems in assignment writing and break down assignment writing into steps, illustrating these with extracts from real assignments. It is important that you do not copy these examples as this will constitute plagiarism, an academic offence. Remember, lecturers will be familiar with this chapter too! The extracts are intended to illustrate the points we are making about the process of planning and writing an assignment.
