ABSTRACT
There is little reason to doubt the claim, made on its first page, that this account, dating from somewhere between 61 and 80 ad, was written by Luke as a sequel to his Gospel. It is a selective and lively record of the activities of the first leaders of the Christian Church (the Apostles of the title) from its very beginning until the arrival of Paul in Rome, c.ad 60.
