ABSTRACT
The Gazetteer has four sections. The first, the City and the East End, comprises sites east of the Fleet River, London’s hidden seam. The second, the West End and west London, comprises Holborn, Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea, and everything further west than that. The third is everything south of the River Thames, the fourth, everything else north, including Islington and Hackney.
