Strategic “intellectual geography” and resources for further exploration

This is the final chapter of the book. On the one hand, this chapter is a culmination of one set of explorations, but on the other hand, it leads to new and greater pursuits related to self-regulated L2 learning strategies. The first two sections provide a “geography lesson,” laying out the landmarks of the S2R Model and presenting the intellectual terrain of learning strategies. The third section offers a plethora of accessible resources for further explorations, while the last section calls for greater unity between researchers and teachers in those explorations. Table 9.1 outlines this chapter.
