Of equal importance to selecting the right research question and deciding on the design of the study, is selecting the methods of enquiry you will use. When choosing your research methods you need to be able to answer yes to each of the following questions.
Is this method going to get the kind of information I need?
Can I be sure that I’m building up as accurate a picture of the event(s) I am studying as I possibly can?
Can I manage to do this with the people concerned in the time available?
