ABSTRACT
The Internet provides a large volume of data likely to be of interest to those with a concern for human rights related issues, whether academic or activist. Amnesty International is one among a few organizations that are using the Internet as another means of developing awareness of human rights issues and extending the numbers supporting the various campaigns it promotes. Many individuals use the Internet as a means of promoting support for specific causes or for safeguarding the human rights of particular individuals.
