ABSTRACT
Climate and weather near the ground play an important part in determining land values, especially in relation to plant growth and human settlement. They are themselves strongly dependent on terrain conditions. The aim of this chapter is to describe, classify, and evaluate those near-ground climatic conditions which result from the nature of the ground surface and its topography.
