Intertextuality and text population

The notion of Text population' was introduced in Chapter 1. In this chapter, I develop the concept, both theoretically, in terms of explaining the various uses of the concept of intertextuality from which it derives, and practically, with attention to the practical matter of how to identify the 'voices' populating a text.
