ABSTRACT
Fascism's lack of a fundamental, unifying body of theory, its many national and local variants, the ideas/movements/regimes question, and the uniqueness of Nazism and the Third Reich have helped generate a range of interpretations of fascism, on the subject of which, in turn, whole books have been written. This section looks at some of the most important interpretative issues.
