ABSTRACT
This chapter is divided into two main parts - the first (Sections 9.2 and 9.3) is a brief guide for those who are not soil specialists on the purpose and scope of soil and land suitability reports and rapid ways of assessing them. The second part (Sections 9.4 and 9.5) discusses the layout and composition of soil and land suitability reports and includes checklists of suggested items essential for soil surveyors to incorporate in these reports.
