ABSTRACT

In Chapter 1, you learnt that your actions or behaviours reflect your personal values and

beliefs, and this is especially so when you need to make a decision. An example is when you

need to buy a car. The person who believes a car should be nothing more than a vehicle to

get them from A to B and who values thriftiness, will buy a different car from the person who

believes a car should be an extension of their personality and values style. Likewise, values

and beliefs impinge on our behaviour at all times.
