Double sciatica; conditions under which this affection occurs; diabetes, certain meningo-myelites, compression of the spinal nerve-trunks at the intervertebral foramina.—The pseudo-neuralgiæ of vertebral cancer.—II. Hypertrophic cervical pachymeningitis; pseudo-neuralgic period; paralytic stage; spasmodic stage.—Illustrative case: recovery with retraction of the flexor muscles of the leg.—Radical cure by surgical intervention.
