General notes on the Sīh-rōzag

The Sīh-rōzag ¹ has come down to us as a part of the Xwurdag Abestag, a group of Avestan texts which can be recited also by laypersons. ² It has reached us in two versions which are almost identical in content, but differ in morphology and length. On the basis of their respective lengths, these versions are called in the research “Little Sīh-rōzag” and “Great Sīh-rōzag.” ³
