ABSTRACT
This poem makes for an excellent discussion on bullying. Bullies tend to pick on people younger, smaller, or more vulnerable than themselves. When they meet their matches, they're not so tough after all. Discuss, with your students, what makes some people bully others—their lack of self confidence, their inner turmoil, their sense of powerlessness in life, etc.
