Developing a School Culture that Meets the Standards

A standards-based curriculum and standards-based teaching need a supportive organization if they are to flourish. As explained in Chapter 1, two of the most important aspects of the school organization are its culture and climate, which in turn affect the hidden curriculum. This chapter explains these concepts and identify the standards that schools should meet in these areas.
