ABSTRACT
Our principal believed that because he made all decisions in the past, he should maintain control of the process, seeking input from the staff as he deemed appropriate. He was skeptical of opening up the process, knowing that he would ultimately be held responsible for decisions. There was quite a bit of discussion about this during the first two months of the school year without any resulting change.
