ABSTRACT
One of the key activities for principals in the information collection process is determining what information is needed and selecting the appropriate sourses for that information. Some of the key concerns regarding information gathering include (1) prioritizing the types of information needed, (2) cat egorizing available information, (3) anticipating the conse quences of using certain types of information, and (4) priori tizing the sources of available information.
