ABSTRACT
Students go to school to learn. The question is what and how they learn. Perhaps that is not really the first question. Rather, we should ask what is meant by “learning.” A misunderstanding and limited meaning of the word have be deviled practitioners for decades. For many, learning means memorizing, and teaching, accordingly, means expounding in such a way that memorization is facilitated.
