ABSTRACT
Grid Garnes is a strategy that creates a nonthreatening environment in which students can practice and build confidence in problem solving and procedural mathematics through a game. Playing the game itself allows students to develop their critical thinking skills while they are building strategies for capturing a cell or blocking their opponent.
