ABSTRACT
Walk This Way allows students to use repeated reasoning to investigate mathematical concepts on number lines as well as the Cartesian coordinate plane by physically representing mathematical situations on a life-size graph. Students can walk a number line to represent quantities that are being composed or decomposed as well as quantities in real-world contexts. Number lines need not be limited to whole numbers. Number lines with fractions and decimals can also be explored.
