ABSTRACT

This chapter describes a process for analyzing data to plan for continuous schoolwide improvement. Data analysis in schools may be approached in many ways, and the effectiveness of school processes may be measured in many ways. One approach to data analysis is to analyze and use data for continuous school improvement planning. The chapter answers the questions with demographic data: who are we? how do we do business? where are we now? why do we exist? where do we want to be? what are the gaps? how can we get to where we want to be? how will we implement? how will we evaluate our efforts?.
