ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses the second question in the continuous school improvement planning model: How do we do business? This can be ascertained through studying student, staff, and parent questionnaire results, and through assessing with tools that can tell how staffs work together and with the larger school community. The questionnaire results were also disaggregated by grade level. Student questionnaire data were also disaggregated by ethnicity. Little River Elementary School staff completed two open-ended questions in 2002 and 2003: What are the strengths of this school? and What needs to be improved? Average responses disaggregated by children's grade level, ethnicity, number of children in the household, and number of children in the school did not show any differences by subgroups.
