ABSTRACT

This chapter presents the different methods available for collecting questionnaire responses from staffs, students, and parents; the pros and cons of the different methods; and how to set-up an effective process to administer a questionnaire. Collecting questionnaire responses via the Internet using software that automatically places the responses into a database. Generally speaking, staffs and students are captive audiences and can submit their questionnaire responses online. Staff members can submit their responses in a computer lab setting during a staff meeting. The school lacked access to the financial resources and personnel to roll out questionnaires for staffs, parents, and students all at once. Practically speaking, setting up a sample and ensuring its reliability within a school environment would be more work than what it would take to simply get 100" participation from our staffs, students, and parents. Staff and parents may be isolated to a specific event, such as a staff meeting or a parent - teacher conference.
