Your Least Prudent Student, Part 3 book
We have yet to meet a student who doesn’t like to run an errand. Also, when you send a student on an errand, it gives him the message that he is important and that you care about him. These are definitely the kinds of messages you want your least prudent student to get from you. However, use your judgment. If your least prudent student is one who would very likely roam the halls causing trouble if you sent him out on his own, then don’t send him down the hall. Instead, simply send him across the hall to deliver something to the neighboring classroom. This way, you can keep a watchful eye on him.
