ABSTRACT
It is clear from countless studies and field experiences summarized in Chapter 1 that increasing the involvement of multicultural families is a good idea for increasing their children’s success in school. Some difficult questions, however, remain:
How can every school achieve the goal of more equitable, inclusive, and productive family involvement?
How can every school ensure that involvement activities are well designed, have high participation, and yield positive results for students?
