ABSTRACT

This chapter provides leveled examples of embedding formative assessments into all four learning styles—Mastery, Understanding, Interpersonal, and Self-Expressive—in order to help students balance them. It is important that students have experience with all four styles because students’ learning styles are subject to change based on their interest in the topic and their readiness to learn it. These strategies allow students to practice a variety of learning styles; I base these four style strategies on the work of Silver, Strong, and Perini (2007).
