ABSTRACT
Some students are hesitant to participate in classroom activities for fear of being teased, ridiculed, or called upon when they are unable to answer. This intervention builds confidence in those students and gives them the chance to participate secure in the knowledge that they will only be called upon after they indicate that they'd like to answer a question or provide a comment.
