ABSTRACT
Students who tend to give up easily often have deeply imbedded, negative thought processes that, based on consistently negative experiences in school, tell them that putting forth effort or hard work is a waste of time. These students need to be provided with clear models, examples, and Stories that demonstrate how hard work and effort have positive results.
