ABSTRACT
New Software Required Although principles of success never change, the specific
challenges faced by today’s youth continue to become more complex. A new, better, and more customized strategy is needed. Using outdated and ineffective educational methods, in hope of producing new age thinkers will be as futile as teaching computer science on outdated equipment. Consider the following comments by Bill Gates’ speech at the 2005 National Education Summit on High Schools:
“Training the workforce of tomorrow with the
high schools of today is like trying to teach kids
about today’s computers on a 50-year old
mainframe. It’s the wrong tool for the times.
