ABSTRACT

No educator can succeed without possessing effective communication skills. Obviously, successful teachers must communicate clearly with the students they teach. Successful teachers are masters at communicating both verbally and nonverbally their expectations for student behavior, their goals and objectives for the courses they teach, what students will learn, and how they will be assessed. As important as it is to communicate clearly to students, it is also vital that teachers communicate regularly and effectively with the parents of the students they teach.
