ABSTRACT
Regardless of the content we teach, what a student hears (in this case what they understand or think they understand) is the most important feature in assessing their understanding of the content. It is important for teachers to take the time to compare what students heard/ understood verses what they wanted them to hear or understand. This strategy offers teachers the chance to assess what students heard.
