ABSTRACT
The politician's favorite tool, the teleprompter, can be used as a novel way to engage students in the classroom. Public speakers, news reporters, and politicians often use teleprompters because they allow the speaker to maintain eye contact and connection with the audience. This strategy engages students by asking them to create the content that will be used with a make-believe teleprompter.
