ABSTRACT

In my work with educators who are interested in learning more about Web 2.0, I frequently encounter educators who struggle with lack of time to integrate these tools into their workflow. I often hear “I just can’t get into the habit of using these tools,” or “I just don’t have the time.” I do understand these “lack of time” and “habit” issues. Incorporating wikis, blog reading and writing, and social networking into one’s workflow does require changed habits. This step-by-step guide is designed to help you develop those habits by spending a little time each week (or each day) focused on one Web 2.0 tool at a time. Each task and reflection builds on previous activities in order to reinforce these new habits, knowledge, and skills.
